PROFESSIONAL FOCUS

Brett is a seasoned Physical Therapist with extensive Manual Therapy experience. He began his academic career at Hofstra University where he received his BBA in Marketing and went on to complete his Doctorate in Physical Therapy with Honours at Utica College. He is an avid researcher and has authored studies alongside top research scientists at Toronto Rehabilitation Institute.  He has published research in a variety of areas such as: Ergonomic Design, Fall Prevention, Low Back Injuries in Personal Care Workers as well as Shoulder Injuries in overhead Athletes.

 

Brett has completed a variety of post-graduate Manual Therapy courses and devoted much of his practice to evaluation, differential diagnosis and treatment of the Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ). He founded Headway Physio and works with Dentists and Orofacial Pain Specialists to develop integrative care plans for their patients. Brett is also a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist, helping people create safer work environments through fully customized remote ergonomic consultations.

Brett is an avid golfer, although he is kept plenty busy with family: Brett and his Wife recently welcomed a baby boy in addition to their twin daughters and pet dog.
